Elton John: “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting” (Dee Murray’s Isolated Bass)

I recently went on a search for videos of Dee Murray (which, unfortunately, are hard to find).

This clip came with the claim that this is Murray’s isolated bass on Elton John’s “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting.”

While it seems to line up, I’m not guaranteeing this is the original. Regardless, it is cool to hear the line in isolation.

Hello, i´ve the “owner” of the profile where the video was uploaded. I found the isolated tracks of the song and i thought it could be nice to show everyone how good he was.

And yes. It´s the original ;)

No isolated Bootsie, or any soul players?

It’s not Dee Murray for sure. The transitions on the D are nothing like the original, the ending is very authentic however, Dee was much better than this.
