It’s been twenty years since Steve Lawson’s first solo bass gig. Since then, he’s recorded over forty albums. Now he’s released the first volume of a “best of” compilation that picks out his favorite tracks from 2000 through 2013.

After two years of development, Keeley Electronics has set a release date for its Eccos Delay/Looper pedal. Originally announced at the 2018 NAMM Show, the new pedal will launch on the first day of the upcoming NAMM Show on January 16, 2020.

Ivo Schot has released a new video in his “Fortheloveofbass” project, and it seems like it will be the last one for a while. The series created amazing collaborations with vocalists featuring Schot providing all the harmonic content on his bass.

Intronaut has announced its next album, “Fluid Existential Inversions,” will be released on February 28, 2020. The band, anchored by bassist Joe Lester, struck out in a new direction while continuing their unique brand of metal. Check out the first single.
