Sanborn Sessions – Session 3: Inconsolable
Since David Sanborn’s “Sanborn Sessions” debuted, I’m always looking forward to a new episode.
In session #3, Sanborn was joined by two guest artists: guitarist/vocalist Jonatha Brooke and guitarist Charlie Hunter. Here they are performing Brooke’s song, “Inconsolable.”
Sanborn’s house band for the series includes Billy Kilson on drums and Ben Williams on bass.
Session #2 is awesome smooth jazz Listening. The accompaniment was great of course and the vocals by Jonatha Brooke were absolutely beautiful. Her range really captivated me. “Inconsolable” is must have for me!
For some reason the sessions three song “is that all” is gone they must’ve had some kind of falling out or something. Does anybody know what happened to that song? It was beautiful
