TWA Revamps the Triskelion Harmonic Energizer Pedal
TWA has updated the Triskelion Harmonic Energizer pedal for 2021 to include a slimmed down profile and more versatility. The unit, which is a recreation of the 70s-era Systech Harmonic Energizer, marks the third iteration of the pedal the company describes as “a parametric midrange filter with adjustable peak and an obscene amount of gain.”
“Now housed in a Hammond 1590B chassis, the Trisk-3 takes up even less real estate than its predecessors, yet it still packs all the processing power that those two crimson critters were famous for,” Godlyke explains.
Version 3.0 brings back the Variant Mass Boost switch, which adds more upper range, as well as frequencies in the 30 Hertz range that were missing in the mark ii. Other features include an on/off switch for the gain, an external footswitch input to control the gain, and a mini-phone jack expression pedal input to sweep the filter.
The TWA Triskelion Mk. III will be shipping in late July for $229.
