Spector has launched a new set of basses in its NS Pulse series with the NS Pulse II. The four- and five-string basses now have three new matte finishes, while the new six-string model comes in Black Stain.
4. Kiesel Guitars Introduces the Modern J-Bass
Kiesel has updated their JB bass lineup with the MJ, aka Modern J-Bass. The new take removes the pickguard to fully display each bass’s top woods.
5. Ernie Ball Music Man Now Offering John Myung Signature Bass in Platinum Silver
Ernie Ball Music Man unveiled a signature bass for Dream Theater’s John Myung back in 2020, and now they’re updating it with a new finish. The John Myung Bongo 6 HH now comes in a Platinum Silver color palette to complement the original black finish.
6. Taurus Amps Introduces Qube-350 Acoustic Bass Amp
Taurus Amps has unveiled a new amp aimed at upright bassists. Although The Qube-350 Acoustic was made with upright in mind, it works great for bass guitars, making it a good option for doublers.
7. Gibson Launches Gene Simmons G2 Thunderbird Bass
Last year, Gibson and Gene Simmons announced a partnership for the G² line of instruments across the Gibson, Epiphone, and Kramer. Now the fruits of their labor are being realized in the first product from the line with the G² Thunderbird Bass.
8. FM Guitars Unveils Classic Series Basses
FM Guitars has expanded their dual-fretboard line of basses with the Classic models, which put their innovative tapping-centric design into a more traditional format. The Classic Basses come in 8- and 10-string versions.
9. Genzler Amplification Unveils the Nu Classic NC-115T Bass Cabinet
Jeff Genzler of Genzler Amplification has expanded their Nu Classic series of bass cabinets with the NC-115T. The new lightweight enclosure continues its boutique take on a vintage design.
10. Fodera Introduces the Mini MB Presentation Bass
Fodera has unveiled a new bass that they call a “futuristic new model” with cutting-edge innovations. The Mini MB Presentation Bass is a collaborative effort between Mike Bendy, Vinny Fodera, Joey Lauricella, and the whole Fodera Team.
