Acorn Amps has unveiled the ADHD, a pedal they say is a “glitch, filter, bit crushing, octave, square wave guitar synth oscillator disguised as a fuzz pedal.”

Scary Goldings just dropped a new live video, and it grooves. Here’s the band, with John Scofield, MonoNeon, Larry Goldings, Lemar Carter, Jack Conte, and Ryan Lerman performing “We Come in Peace.”

Rick Rosato has made his debut as a leader with a new solo bass album called “Homage,” which pays tribute to the blues while returning to his first musical influences. The record was recorded by Rosato alone with no overdubs.

For his newest instrument, luthier Jeremy Kirsch wanted to dream up something that was big on fun as well as versatility. His vision became a reality with the Sirena Basses Pistolera.

The WDR Big Band dropped a new video in celebration of their new album, and the lineup is incredible. Steve Gadd, Eddie Gomez, Ronnie Cuber, and Bobby Sparks joined the band to perform the Wilton Felder tune, “Way Back Home.”

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have landed their second album for 2022 with “Return of the Dream Canteen,” making a one-two punch from April’s release of “Unlimited Love.” Flea cited his favorite new tracks too.

Fender has once again revived more of its original designs with the new American Vintage II series. The lineup recreates models from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s by building them to their original specs.

Steve Lawson’s music has always carried a certain amount of emotional weight, but his latest release may be the deepest. The solo bass master was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, and “TLC” was recorded amidst his chemotherapy treatments.
