N-Audio Launches 8×7 and 4×4 Amp Cabinet Switchers
N-Audio has expanded its lineup of switching devices with two new models: the 8×7 Amp Cabinet Switcher and the 4×4 Amp Cabinet Switcher. Each of the rack-mountable units allows you to switch between amplifiers and cabinets quickly without manually routing cables.
“Nine years ago, I released two amps to cabinet switching systems,” N-Audio’s Niki Hristov tells us. “I wanted to improve the whole system allowing more amplifiers and more cabinets plus more features. So this is actually the result.”
As their names imply, the 8×7 allows for connecting up to eight amplifiers and up to seven cabinets, while the 4×4 can connect up to four amps and four cabs. “It is a good choice when you have a few amplifiers and cabinets and want to make a quick comparison between them or just choose your favorite guitar tone,” the company explains. “Also, this system works great for live performance, studio recording, and music shops where a lot of equipment has to be tested or routed quickly.”
The N-Audio 8×7 Amp Cabinet Switcher and 4×4 Amp Cabinet Switcher are available now for $941 and $624, respectively.
