Stanley Clarke Announces World Tour Dates with New Band, 4Ever
Last year, bass icon Stanley Clarke unveiled his latest band, called 4Ever. Now the “School Days” virtuoso has shared a set of dates for 2023 that will take the fledgling group around the world.
Clarke once again handpicked some of the brightest young stars in music. He said they bring “dynamic, youthful energy and freshness to the music.” 4Ever includes Jeremiah Collier on drums, Jahari Stampley on piano and keyboards, Colin Cook on guitar, and Emilio Modeste on saxophone.
The quintet will kick things off today and tomorrow with a pair of dates at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, Arizona, and a show on the 13th in San Francisco. After a few more U.S. dates in March, the band will head to Europe for the majority of May. He has a few more festival appearances through November, although more dates are expected to be announced.
