Warren Haynes Announces New Album and Tour with Kevin Scott on Bass
Warren Haynes is ramping things up with his solo band this fall with a new album and a tour to boot. Million Voices Whisper has yet to have an exact release date, but the guitarist/vocalist stated he hopes to have it out in late September or early October. The upcoming tour will include the new music.
The Warren Haynes Band was relaunched last month with a European tour. The current lineup is an all-star band featuring drummer Terence Higgins, saxophonist Greg Osby, keyboardist Matt Slocum on the summer dates with John Medeski on the fall dates, and bassist Kevin Scott.
Scott, who released his own album in February, also plays bass in Gov’t Mule with Haynes. Our interview with him from last year gives the full scoop on his approach and gear.
The Warren Haynes Band is currently on tour with The Dreams and Songs Symphonic Experience, which showcases the group’s music with elaborate orchestral arrangements. See below for the full itinerary.
