Bass of the Week: Mensinger Guitars Joker B 5A Hollowbody 3TS

Poland’s Mensinger Guitars has a bass model called the Joker B, and this hollowbody version of it in three-tone sunburst really caught my attention. The five-string bass is built with a medium 32-inch scale length and bolt-on construction.
Mensinger builds the bass with an ash body while utilizing eye poplar for the top. Its flamed maple neck has a Birdseye maple fingerboard with 22 frets.
For electronics, they fitted the instrument with Delano humbuckers and a Noll TCM 4XM preamp. Other features include Hipshot hardware and a gloss finish.
