Simon Fitzpatrick: Space-Dye Vest (7-String Bass Cover)
It has been quite a while since we’ve seen a video from Simon Fitzpatrick, but that changed last night.
In this clip, Simon takes on Dream Theater’s “Space-Dye Vest,” the final track on the band’s 1994 album, Awake.
The original is duet between pianist Kevin Moore and vocalist James LaBrie. Simon’s all-bass arrangement on a 7-string bass is stunning.
