ZZ Top is taking their Elevation Tour to new heights. That “Lil Ol’ Band from Texas” has announced they’re expanding the run with new dates from August through October.

The new leg will begin in Canada on June 1st in Victoria, British Columbia. After five more Canadian shows, they’ll head into the Midwest and criss-cross between northern states and the Great White North. The massive tour will take them across the whole U.S. to eventually wrap up on October 10th in Terra Haute, Indiana.

The Southern Rock trio continues to be fronted by Billy Gibbons with the bass seat being held by Elwood Francis. In March, drummer Frank Beard announced he was stepping back from tour to focus on his health. Tech crew member John Douglas has stepped in to fill his spot as he recovers.

What is that thing? Looks like they already have a guitarist.
