Blackstar Introduces the Beam Solo: A Wireless Headphone Amp for Silent Practice

Blackstar Amplification has introduced the Beam Solo, a wireless headphone amp and silent-practice solution for guitarists and bassists. The unit’s adjustable 1/4-inch jack folds up for easy storage while still having a full feature set with Patch, Gain, EQ, FX, and Volume controls. An app lets you choose from over 50 amps, cabs, mics, and effects pedals to craft your sound.
Central to its design is the SpeedDial, which lets you quickly adjust the intensity of all your effects. A 1/8th-inch jack lets you connect to your headphones, but it’s also ready to accept a TRRS-equipped headphone set with a microphone to let you practice singing, as well. Other features include Bluetooth streaming, a built-in tuner, a metronome, and a USB-C port for recharging the unit or acting as an audio interface.
The Blackstar Beam Solo is available now for $129.99.

Looks good, but I wonder why all recent devices like this no longer include a drum machine like the now defunct Korg Pandora series used to.
