Watch: Henrik Linder Pushes the Low End on Jack Gardiner’s “Taxman”

Jack Gardiner just dropped a new original titled “Taxman” featuring Owane and Henrik Linder, and it is pure fun from the first hit. The trio set up on the side of a mountain with a sweeping view behind them, which somehow makes the tight progressive groove feel even more alive.

Henrik is on his pink Mattisson six string and he sounds as sharp as ever. His lines weave in and out of Gardiner’s guitar work with a playful precision, bouncing between finger and slap style. Owane adds his own sonic fingerprints in a way that rounds out the energy without ever crowding the space.

The result is an upbeat progressive jam that feels light on its feet and packed with personality. It is always great to hear Henrik in this kind of setting and this one is worth a spin.

They look like they’re having WAY too much fun. I love Henrik’s playing. Must be nice to be so talented.
