House of Waters: Moon
I was thrilled to see this new video by House of Waters hit. I was even more excited to learn they have a new album coming. From “Where I Wander”, here’s the band performing “Moon.” Moto Fukushima’s playing on this is as smooth as silk (as always).
Stanley Clarke with Cory Henry: Goodbye Pork Pie Hat
Stanley Clarke joined Cory Henry at the Blue Note NYC on May 7th, and this happened. Check out their incredible performance of the Charles Mingus tune, “Goodbye Porkpie Hat.”

Primus, as I’m sure you know, is currently on tour performing Rush’s “A Farewell to Kings” in its entirety. Here’s a glimpse into the tour, thanks to this fan-shot video of the band performing “Xanadu.”
James Taylor: Rainy Day Man (BBC In Concert, Nov 13, 1971)

Katravion Tray Williams: Old Ship Of Zion
Katravion Tray Williams shared this video on Facebook, and I was blown away. Katravion took a cover of “Old Ship Of Zion” by Josh Myles and made it his own. What’s super impressive is how he handled all the instruments and vocals.

Jason Heath: “Chorale” Performance and Breakdown
Jason Heath shared a new video yesterday, and I was mesmerized. Jason has been working on the beautiful (and challenging) Nicholas Walker composition, “Chorale” for four years. In this clip, he performs the piece, then breaks it down.
