This week, we’re checking out another fabulous instrument from the collection of Bass Upfront founder David Sutkin. This custom scroll bass from Mana Basso is a four-string with an extra-long 35-inch scale.

After a sweet version of “Kashmir,” David Sutkin and Adrian Maruszczyk have teamed up again to recreate a classic song with dual basses. Maruszczyk’s children Lukas Kuban and Michelle Kuban join in on percussion and vocals on their version of “Wish You Were Here.”

Led Zeppelin’s classic “Kashmir” features an epic arrangement filled out with strings, horns, and a mellotron. David Sutkin, Lukas Kuban and Adrian Maruszczyk decided to take things the other way by rocking it out with two basses and a drumset.
