Rich Brown is such a monster bass player. Watch this performance, taken from Rich’s solo bass concert in Toronto about two weeks ago, and you’ll see what I’m talking about. The tune, “Nguyên”, is dedicated to the French/Vietnamese guitarist Nguyên Lê. Rich’s stellar musicianship and technique comes through loud and clear. No flash, just great music.
