Skunk Anansie bassist Cass Lewis has been an Alusonic endorser for some time, and the company has just created a new bass for him. The Alusonic Django Deluxe 4 Cass Lewis Signature Bass offers “something unique and innovative,” the company writes.

Luthier Tom Molstad of Bird on a Wire Stringed Instruments recently posted photos of his first-ever bass build, and he’s off to a great start. “Sil Nora” is a six-string, multi-scale bass with a rich combination of colors.

David Sutkin posted the latest bass in his arsenal on the Facebook group Bass Upfront, and it’s clear he’s ready to rock. Literally.

This week we’re taking a look at a recent bass build by Capurso Guitars. This Spiral Deluxe five-string has a classy look with a poplar burl top finished in a transparent green burst complemented by a Birdseye maple fingerboard with abalone inlays.

This Shuker Custom four-string Series 2 Bass has a lot going on. The first thing that catches your eye is its rusted airbrush finish, which has a matte top coat. Then you’re drawn to the hole in the body that acts as a grip.

This week we’re checking out a beautiful bass that Swan Custom Basses brought to the 2023 NAMM Show. The Swan Omicron Brutus “Concept” has a singlecut body design with a cutout where you’d normally find controls.
