Rush’s “Moving Pictures” hit a milestone in 2021 for its 40th anniversary, but its celebration continues. Backbeat Books has just published a book by Will Romano called “Moving Pictures: How Rush Created Progressive Hard Rock’s Greatest Record.”

Pink Floyd has released a whopping eighteen live albums from their archive. Recorded in 1972, this was a pivotal time for the band, with music from “Meddle” and “Obscured By Clouds” as well as songs for what would become “Dark Side of the Moon.”

During the pandemic, Roger Waters kept busy with his band by recording tracks remotely from their own homes. Waters released the tracks vis his YouTube channel, but now he’s put them together as a album called “The Lockdown Sessions.”
