Metallica has big news to share. First up is a new studio album, “72 Seasons,” which is slated to drop in April 2023. They debuted the first single, “Lux Aeterna,” which clearly has an old-school Metallica sound. The band also announced a tour.

Brooklyn hardcore icons Biohazard have announced a reunion tour for 2023 to celebrate the band’s 35th anniversary. The group will feature the entire original lineup, including bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld.

Blitz Vega, the band comprised of Kav Blaggers and The Smiths bassist Andy Rourke, has returned with their first new music in over two years. “Strong Forever” is an anthem for those who are having hard times.

Another iconic rock band has announced they’ll be hanging it up. Foreigner has unveiled a Farewell Tour that will begin in 2023. The band, formed in 1976, broke the news to Billboard.

Lyle Lovett will be hitting the road again this winter with his Acoustic Group, which pares down his Large Band to the strings and piano. That includes Jeff White, Luke Bull, and Leland Sklar.

Dezron Douglas has released a new full-length album called “Atalaya.” Although many know him for being the current bassist in Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio’s solo band, Douglas channels his jazz side on the record.
