I spend a lot of time watching videos by KEXP. They just dropped this clip from the October appearance of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard at the KEXP studio. Here’s the band, backed by Lucas Harwood, performing “Magma.”

Nenad Vasilic shared his latest video with us. From the streets of Vienna, here’s his solo bass version of the song “Ljudi, Nije Fer” by SMAK.

Six years ago today, we were devastated to learn of Victor Bailey’s passing. We’re honoring him today with this clip with Vic, Lenny White, and Larry Coryell from the 2006 Jazz Triumph Festival, and their cover of Led Zepplin’s “Black Dog.”

No Treble reader Tamás Barabás sent us this new bass and vocals duo video. He teamed up with vocalist Kreiter Helga for this beautiful cover of Yebba’s “How Many Years.”

Martin Miller’s band was joined by Chris Buck for this performance at Guitar Summit 2022. The band, with Ben Jud handling the lead vocals and bass, takes on Prince’s “Purple Rain.”

Diego Tarantino sent us his latest video, and it is stunning. Diego took Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” and reharmonized it with some beautiful bass work.

Jon Willis sent us his latest video, with his play along to Looking Glass's "Brandy." He said Peter Sweval wrote and recorded a textbook example of how the bass to lift a song.

Ben Harper’s “Steal My Kisses” is such a great tune, thanks in large part to Juan Nelson. Now, Rebecca Johnson and her band shared this video of them doing their own thing with the tune in a live performance. Funky!

Danny Ziemann is back with a new bass and voice project with singer Valerie Costa. The duo have an album of jazz standards coming in December and are teasing it with this amazing clip of the Bill Evans and Carol Hall song “The Two Lonely People.”
