There’s no shortage of supergroups these days it seems, but nearly 50 years ago, a killer one got together for a one-time appearance on the Rolling Stones’ TV special, “The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus.” John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards (on bass), and Mitch Mitchell took the stage to perform Lennon’s “Yer Blues.”

The Dave Matthews Band made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in support of their latest album, Come Tomorrow, performing “Again and Again.” Stefan Lessard backs the tune with a growly slap groove.

We love it when Leonid Vorobyev and his band, Leonid & Friends, shares a new video. Check out their performance of “Feelin’ Stronger Every Day.” As always, these guys nail the Chicago covers.

Zander Zon took Alan Walker’s song, “Darkside,” and made it is own with this amazing cover. “I’m tuned CEGE for this one and am using my ebow and loop pedal,” Zander shared. “I’m also doing a lot of percussion on this tune which hopefully sounds cool.” Sounds amazing.

Marcus Miller had just met Sarod player Ranajit Sengupta, and they decided to jam together on the Bimhuis stage in Amsterdam. In this clip, the duo performs a fantastic take on Herbie Hancock’s “Cantaloupe Island.”

Esperanza Spalding performed at the International Jazz Day All-Star Global Concert in Havana, Cuba in 2017. Joined by Yaroldi Abreu (percussion), Ambrose Akinmusire (trumpet), Bobby Carcasses (vocals), Antonio Sanchez (drums), and Christian Sands (piano), here’s their stunning performance of Spalding’s tune “I Adore You.”

Back in June, Alina Engibaryan performed at the Jazz Standard in New York. The pianist/vocalist had quite a backing band too, including Michael League, who played bass and Moog and offered up some background vocals. This is their performance of “The New You” from Alina’s album .
