Derek Sherinian has a new solo album, “The Phoenix”, scheduled to release on September 18. He just released the video for the second single, “Dragonfly,” and it is amazing. Sherinian is joined by Simon Phillips and Ernest Tibbs in this clip.

Scott Devine from Scott’s Bass Lessons has released episode #2 of his “Bass Tales” series, and this one is a killer. From his house in Nashville, Billy Sheehan showcases his amazing bass collection, including the legendary P-bass, “The Wife”.

Leland Sklar continues his epic run of terrific videos during this time of quarantine. Once again, Lee plays through and discusses a song from his career, with the America tune, “One in a Million.”

No Treble reader Adham Roshdy sent this funky video to us, entitled “Falling for You.” We’re digging the vibe on this one, and even more impressed with the fact that Adham performed all the instruments and vocals on it.

The Main Squeeze is rocking hard in their latest video. In this clip, the band takes on Rage Against the Machine’s “Bulls on Parade,” with Rob Walker on bass.

Scary Pockets is back with another funky cover, and in this one, they’re joined by bassist Hagar Ben Ari and guest vocalist Judith Hill. Check out their take on Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way.”

Vulfpeck performed live at Madison Square Garden in October 2019. The concert resulted in a 2-LP vinyl release, and Vulfpeck now has it up on Bandcamp. In celebration, the band posted this live performance of “Dean Town” from the concert.

The Beat-Club recently posted this epic video of Yes performing “Yours Is No Disgrace” in 1971. Chris Squire not only handled the bass and vocals, but he was also sporting some epic boots on this one.

While Steve Winwood is one of the many looking to return to performing live, that’s not stopping him from performing virtually. In this clip, his band, which includes bassist Nate Williams, performed The Spencer Davis Group’s “Gimme Some Lovin’.”

Rebecca Johnson is trying out a new bass (a Dean Edge Select 5), and so she decided to document it. In this clip, Rebecca gives the new bass a test drive in bass/drum jam at home with Con Settineri.

Tedeschi Trucks Band ended their 2019 residency at the Beacon Theatre with an incredible cover of “With A Little Help From My Friends.” Backed by bassist Brandon Boone, the band delivers big on this one.
