Steely Dan’s “Peg” is one of my all-time favorite tunes, thanks to the incredible bass line by Chuck Rainey. Rebecca Johnson and her band performed the tune live back in January. As always, Rebecca knocks us out with both her playing and singing.

Jorge Roeder is releasing his debut solo album, “El Suelo Mio”, on July 3rd and today we’re proud to premiere this performance for “I’ll Remember April.”

One of my favorite tracks on Cory Wong’s “Motivational Music for the Syncopated Soul” is “Companion Pass.” So I was thrilled to see him share the video for the tune yesterday, with Louis Cato on bass.

The new Scary Pockets video once again features bassist Sam Wilkes, who always delivers. But we were absolutely knocked out by India Carney’s vocals on this one. Check out this beautiful take on John Lennon’s “Imagine.”

Gabriel Severn and his band Teen Town - along with guitarist Giorgio Galimberti - recorded this virtual cover of Tribal Tech’s “Signal Path.” These guys absolutely nailed it!

Yamaha recently launched a new video series called “Social Riffing”. This second installment is a killer solo bass performance by Amos Heller, who lays down the low end for artists like Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, and others.

The world needs a whole lot more positivity right now. One thing is for sure, if you're looking for positivity, Victor Wooten is a great person to seek out. Check out this powerful video with Vic from The Sessions Panel series.

VIDEO PREMIERE: Bassist Ike Sturm and guitarist Jesse Lewis have teamed up to form Endless Field, whose new album, “Alive in the Wilderness”, is available now. Check out this breathtaking video of Sturm performing the solo double bass piece “Wolfhead”.

Here’s a recent video from Zildjian LIVE! series’ second season, which features drummer Marcus Gilmore performing with Ghost-Note. “Southern Spirits” is a tune written by Robert Sput Searight and features the always awesome MonoNeon on bass.

John McLaughlin and The 4th Dimension got together virtually on June 10th to record their first new tune in 5 years. This was done to support the Jazz Foundation of America. Check out Etienne Mbappe and the band trading off some incredible solos on this one!
