The Fearless Flyers shared a new video in support of their upcoming full-length album, “Tailwinds.” If you’ve been following the band, hold on to your hats. This one is going to surprise you.

Today is Leland Sklar's birthday, so we wanted to celebrate with one of his many recent videos. In this clip, Lee discusses the music he played with Jackson Browne, and the musicians he played with, including a play-along to “Doctor My Eyes.”

When you do the math, it doesn’t seem like the 13 Cordas duo adds up. A mandolin and a bass should have twelve strings. However, Rafael Marques plays a 10-string mandolin and bassist Walter Areia plays a three-string upright. Here’s their video for “Ócios do Ofício.”

I’m always excited to see a video from Ghost-Note hit. About a week ago, MonoNeon shared this one of the band performing “Phat Bacc” during a Sugarshack Session. So funky!

It’s not often you hear some funky Bach, but here we are. Bassists Chris DeAngelis and Dave Livolsi play through the Baroque composer’s tricky Prelude #2 in C Minor while drummer Adrian Tramontano lays down a funk beat.

Martin Gudics got together with some friends for this virtual performance of the Jaco Pastorius tune, “Teen Town.” And they made it their own. Saxophonist/keyboardist Mate Bartok arranged the tune, and his portion of the video is hilarious.

There are a lot of reasons I love this video. First, it has both electric and double basses. Second, there are only basses. Third, it’s a father and son duo. Check out Nenad and Vuk Vasilic performing “Mr. A.B.”

Following the success of his “Quarantine Collab” video, Charles Berthoud is back with another. He asked musicians to send him videos of them playing something in A minor at 124 bpm. He then edited them together into a single song - with over 50 bassists.

It’s been a while since we’ve had a video from Alasdair McLachlan, but now he’s back with a killer slap arrangement of the classic Chaka Khan song “Ain’t Nobody.” Accompanied by drummer Chris Allan, the bassist handles the melody and bass line all at once.

Miki Santamaria recently shared that he’s part of a new fusion project, along with drummer Alfred Berengena and keyboardist Sergio Delgado. From Inkalawa’s new EP, “Awapit”, here is their performance of the song, “Welcome Elna.”

Here’s another great virtual collaboration video to share. In this clip, Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante, Testament guitarist Alex Skolnick, Suicidal Tendencies bassist Ra Diaz, and Crobot vocalist Brandon Yeagley perform Rush’s “Red Barchetta.”
