Bob Weir and Wolf Bros are currently on tour, and they made a stop at NPR’s office for a Tiny Desk Concert. The band, which includes Don Was on double bass, performed a fantastic set, with four songs.

The Solo Bass Night series was rekindled in 2019 with a pair of dates in California. There was a wealth of talent at each night, including Johnnie Gilmore, who performed this solo bass version of “To Make You Feel My Love.”

The Deep Energy Orchestra, led by bassist Jason Everett, has just released their second album, entitled “The Return.” Today, we’re happy to premiere the performance video for the album’s penultimate track, “Resolve.”

Leonid & Friends are celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Ides of March’s self-titled debut album with this cover of the tune “Vehicle.” As always, Leonid Vorobyev and the band NAIL IT.

Theo Katzman visited the Paste Studio in New York City recently, in support of his new album, “Modern Johnny Sings: Songs in the Age of Vibe.” Joined by his Vulfpeck bandmate Joe Dart, the band performed three tracks from the album.

Until today, I wasn’t familiar with Tones and I’s hit tune, “Dance Monkey.” But Zander Zon changed that with his latest solo bass performance video. In this clip, Zander incorporates multiple instruments to create this arrangement.

I’ve been a big YYNOT fan since the beginning. It has been a blast watching this band grow from a (mostly) Rush cover band into a band making their own mark. Here’s the video for “She Said I Love The Rain,” from the latest album, “Resonance.”
