It has been quite a while since we’ve been able to feature a new video by Dirty Loops. That changes today with the return of the band and a new video they just shared.

We’re stoked for the second album by The Fearless Flyers (and awaiting the vinyl version). Here’s another clip the band has shared for The Fearless Flyers II and Joe Dart. Joe really does let it fly on this one.

I love the “Jam in the Van” videos and just stumbled upon a great one by Butcher Brown. Bassist Andrew Randazzo drives the tune “Fiat” in this clip from the 2017 High Sierra Music Festival.

Zycopolis TV produced this video from the 2007 North Sea Jazz Cruise, which kicks off with Marcus Miller sharing a great story about how Herbie Hancock’s “Head Hunters” was such a game-changer for him. Then the video shifts between interviews and music with a who’s who list of musicians.

Tedeschi Trucks Band made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, and there’s a new bassist in the mix. In this clip, Brandon Boone lays down the low end, following Tim Lefebvre’s departure from the band.

Is there anyone cooler than Christian McBride? In this clip, Christian joins Keb’ Mo’ and Jennifer Hartswick for a performance of “France,” recorded live on NPR Music’s “Night Owl.”

Usually, when we share a video with Jack Stratton involved, he has Joe Dart by his side. But the man can play bass (among many other instruments). In this clip, Jack joins Scary Pockets for their take on The Beatles’ “Come Together.”

WATCH: Multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier never ceases to amaze us. In this clip, he performs an arrangement of The Beatles’ “Here Comes the Sun” on too many instruments to count (including double and electric basses) and multiple vocal tracks.

I know this video is supposed to be a major showcase for guitarist Joscho Stephan, but I love what bassist Stefan Berger is doing in this performance. In this clip, Joscho’s trio covers Jimi Hendrix’s “Hey Joe” (and more Hendrix goodness.)

Gary Clark Jr. visited NPR last month for their “Tiny Desk Concert” series. Backed by bassist Johnny Bradley, the band performed a three-song set of epic goodness.
