Karl Clews sent me this very cool video of him performing Stanley Clarke’s “Lopsy Lu”, but with a twist. Karl switches between all four of the headless, carbon-fiber neck basses in his collection, to compare and contrast the tones of these instruments.

My bucket list includes attending a GroundUP Music Festival one day. Here’s a clip they just shared of violinist/vocalist Andrew Bird’s band performing at this year’s festival, with bassist Alan Hampton (and one cool bass.)

WATCH: Multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier never ceases to amaze us. In this clip, he performs an arrangement of The Beatles’ “Here Comes the Sun” on too many instruments to count (including double and electric basses) and multiple vocal tracks.
