Michael League, Cory Henry, and Nat Townsley: Creepin’

We’ve featured the trio of bassist Michael League, organist Cory Henry and drummer Nathaniel Townsley before (see their performance of “Continuum” after you watch this one).

Here they are performing a cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Creepin’”. Oh yeah.

  1. yeah. old school is always the best. great take on this. michael league is smooth, man.

  2. That was nice. Organist was kicking it. Rare to see organ trio with bass players. League was tight.

  3. Really Cool Stuff !!!

  4. I love that the last comments are from 2014! Snarky Puppy won their first Grammy that year because of Lalah Hathaway, and was not nearly as well known, Cory Henry has gone on to become a star (relatively), Michael League was on the cover of Bass Player magazine after that and Snarky Puppy has won 3 MORE Grammys and become a (fusiony) household name.
