Glenn Hughes To Host Weekly Radio Show

Ex-Deep Purple and current Black Country Communion bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes is getting his own radio show on Planet Rock starting Sunday June 5th at 6pm GMT.

Throughout the program, Hughes will be playing his favorite songs as well as telling stories from his incredible 40-year career including tales with and about Black Sabbath, Dio, David Coverdale, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Deep Purple, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more.

“I would like to thank Planet Rock for giving me the opportunity to share with listeners the songs that have shaped my life,” he said in a statment. “Every song is chosen by me, and there will rock ‘n’roll stories along the away. I am a messenger…”

The Voice of Rock’s show will air Sunday evenings from 6pm-7pm. For more info, visit the Planet Rock website.
