Zander Zon: Adele’s “Hello” for Solo Fretless Bass
For years, Zander Zon has wowed us with his solo bass videos, using his Zon 4-string fretted bass.
Later, he got a Chris Larking acoustic bass guitar, and took things to a new level.
Now, he has a Zon fretless bass, and he’s shared his first video with it – a cover of Adele’s “Hello”.
“Hope you like it,” he said. “The slide harmonics are pretty fun!”

in my opinion, michael manring has played something very close to this about 20 years ago and not covers of a pop song…so, sorry but in my humble opinion , this video/song is nothing special (except for the perfect execution)
I’ve seen Michael do covers :) I’m not sure why that takes anything away from the performance here, especially given that Zander came up with his own unique arrangement – on top of the performance.
