IK Multimedia Announces iRig HD 2

IK Multimedia has updated their mobile interface with the iRig HD 2. The device, which allows you to hook your bass up to iOS devices or a computer, has a host of new features on top of its predecessor’s capabilities.
It now offers 96kHz digital audio with 24-bit A/D conversion. Similar to the original iRig HD, the iRig HD 2 has a 1/4-inch instrument input, gain control, input level LED, and micro USB device output. New connectivity includes a 1/4-inch amp output jack with switchable output with an FX and Thru switch as well as a 1/8-inch headphone output with preamp and level control.
It also comes with a microphone stand mounting clip and a velcro strip for securing it in live situations. IK Multimedia ships it with AmpliTube 4 for Mac and PC. The HD 2 also unlocks the full version of AmpliTube for iOS.
