Eastwood Custom Shop Unveils the Classic 5 Bass
Eastwood will be introducing a five-string version of their Classic hollow body bass as part of their crowdfunding platform. The Classic 5 Bass will be built with a bound laminated maple body, maple top, and bound f-holes.

Similar to the four-string, the fiver is fitted with a pair of EW-Retro humbuckers controlled with a 3-way switch. Its knobs are set up for a volume/volume/tone configuration. Other features include a bound maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with shark teeth inlays, and a 30.5-inch scale.
The Eastwood Classic 5 Bass will go into production once their goal of $1,200 is met. It has a pre-order deposit of $150 with a final price of $599, which includes a custom gigbag. Eastwood says the bass is projected ship in March 2017.
