MXR Introduces Deluxe Version of Carbon Copy Analog Delay Pedal

MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay Pedal

MXR has released a deluxe version of their Carbon Copy analog delay with a load of new features. The pedal now has an extended delay time of up to 1.2 seconds as well as tap tempo functionality. A Tap Division feature allows for four subdivisions: dotted 8ths, 8ths, triplets, and 16ths.

It also has more tonal options. In addition to the original pedal’s “dark, mellow wash,” you can get a “vibrant articulation” with a Bright switch. A Mod switch lets you use the Speed and Width controls to shape your repeats. Programmable presets let you recall your settings at the press of a button.

Other features include an expression jack, an internal line/instrument level switch, and a Dry Kill switch to give you a “wet only” effect. The pedal operates with true bypass and 9-volt battery operation.

The MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay will be shipping this year with a street price of $229.99.
