Cort Guitars Unveils the GB75JH Bass Guitar

After introducing a JJ model earlier this year, Cort has once again added to their GB7 series with the GB75JH bass. The new bass takes a “proven body and bridge design” and adds a new pickup configuration – in this case a single coil pickup with a humbucker in the bridge position.
“This model is equipped with two-band EQ with passive-active push-pull,” Cort writes. “The new Tone Bass Humbucker pickup provides both power and sensitivity for a variety of playing techniques, and an Alnico V magnet with 41AWG wire maintains rumbling power and clarity. The humbucker is paired with a VTB-ST single coil pickup to cover virtually any bass tonal spectrum.”
Its lightweight swamp ash body is matched with a Canadian hard maple neck. Other features include Hipshot Ultralite tuners and an Omega bridge. It will be available with a street price of $899.
