Cort Introduces the GB74JJ Bass
Cort has expanded their GB7 series of guitars and basses with the GB74JJ, a jazz-style bass that they describe as integrating both modern and classic aspects. That blend is centered in its pair of VTB-ST pickups that are fitted into a swamp ash body.
“Crafted with winding materials that maximize high and low frequencies, the refined design of these pickups provides a unique noiseless performance,” Cort writes. “The electronics are also specially engineered, providing for two bands of tone control as well as master volume and pickup blend controls, with the ability to switch from active to passive thanks to a provided push-pull pot.”
Other features include a maple neck and fingerboard, an Omega bridge, and Hipshot Ultralite tuners. It comes in Amber or Aqua Blue colors. The Cort GB74JJ will be available soon with an MSRP of $749.
