Petros Klampanis: Alfonsina Y El Mar
Last year we premiered the first Rooftop Stories series video by Petros Klampanis, and now we’re featuring the second installment. The video for “Alfonsina Y El Mar” starts with the precarious situation of getting a double bass onto a rooftop, but then it’s nothing but gorgeous views and music.
“This is the second Rooftop Story, shot in East London. We luckily finished the shooting right before the ‘Ophelia’ storm started,” Klampanis writes. “‘Alfonsina Y El Mar’ by Ariel Ramirez become famous by the legendary singer Mercedes Sosa in the ’70s. It is one of my favorite tunes and I am happy to be sharing it with you.”
