Rickenbacker Guitars Reveals the 4003AC Al Cisneros Signature Bass
Al Cisneros has teamed up with Rickenbacker for a limited edition signature bass based on their flagship model. The 4003AC is outfitted with a few of the Sleep/Om bassist’s requests including a re-engineered bridge with adjustable saddles, a two-way truss rod, dual hot wound treble pickups with bezels, and a bound neck and fingerboard.
It’s also decked out with a signature pickguard and green Sleep inlays on the fingerboard. A removable thumb rest is mounted at the end of the fingerboard. Similar to the 4003W, the new Cisneros bass is built with a walnut body, maple neck, and a bound maple fingerboard.
The Rickenbacker 4003AC Al Cisneros Signature bass is limited to 420 pieces. Rickenbacker has shipped the first three, saying more will follow later next month. It’s available for preorder for $3,399.
