Steve Harris and British Lion Release New Track From “The Burning”
As Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris and his band British Lion prepare to hit the road in the U.S. next year, they’ve released the second single from their upcoming album, The Burning. The record, which is set for a January 17th release date, has been in the works for at least two years.
“We’ve been working on ‘The Burning’ for the past couple of years and everyone is really pleased with the results,” says Richard Taylor. “We started playing some of the songs live on recent tours and got a fantastic reaction from our fans so we are really excited to be sharing this album with the world. We’re also looking forward to heading out on the road again in the UK and US and seeing everyone at the shows.”
The band has released the title track from The Burning, which includes Harris playing in his signature gallop. You can really hear his tone when the song’s texture thins out at the 3:40 mark:
British Lion is currently touring the UK. They’ll head to the U.S. immediately after they release The Burning in January with concerts stretching through February.
