Bergantino Audio Unveils the NXT Bass Cabinet Series
Bergantino Audio is expanding its lineup of speaker cabinets with the NXT, or “Neo X-Treme Technology,” series. The line includes four models that are built with new proprietary drivers.
“The NXT series speakers represent a notable and leading-edge, neodymium-based motor technology created by bass amplification pioneer, Jim Bergantino,” the company writes. “This is an exclusive new driver technology, unique to Bergantino, a one of kind in this industry and designed specifically for bass amplification.”
The NXT series includes a 2×10, a 2×12, and two 1×12 models: one with a reference HF horn and one without. Each of the larger cabs is loaded with the horn. They are all built with precision-tuned, ported cabinets that combines a mix of lightweight poplar and birch plywood.
The Bergantino NXT Series will be debuting at the 2020 Winter NAMM Show. They’ll be shipping later this month with prices ranging from $779 to $1,399.
