Quarantine Comes Alive Online Festival Announced for May 30th

Live for Live Music has partnered up with Nugs.TV and PLUS1 to present a one-day virtual music festival on Saturday, May 30th. Quarantine Comes Alive boasts a roster of over 60 artists with “a reported 90% brand new content created for the event.”
“The full-day virtual music marathon will predominantly feature new “live” performances captured during the ongoing lockdown, with a few gems from the archives sprinkled in. The new content will be created by the artists in a variety of ways, from socially distant studio sessions to remote video collaborations. While each band and artist on the bill will take their own, unique approach for their Quarantine Comes Alive content, the goal is the same across the board: To create something new and special for fans everywhere to enjoy—together—while they remain physically distant for the foreseeable future.”
The lineup features many bands you’d find on the festival circuit like ALO, Goose, Greensky Bluegrass, Turkuaz, and more. Some of the standout bassists include George Porter Jr., Mononeon, Erick “Jesus” Coomes of Lettuce, Tony Hall and Nick Daniels III of Dumpstaphunk, and Pete Shand of The New Mastersounds.
Quarantine Comes Alive is a donation-based event that will directly benefit the performing musicians as well as Sweet Relief, MusiCares, Center for Disaster Philanthropy, World Central Kitchen, Partners In Health, Trans Lifeline, Backline, and local organizations helping the homeless. All you have to do is donate (as little as $1) to receive a link to the stream. For more info, check out the Quarantine Comes Alive website.
