Bass of the Week: Leones JB 541FR Rosewood

Leones Guitars shared their latest JB model, and it’s a stunner. The Leones JB 541FR Rosewood is a fretless version of the bass built almost entirely with rosewood. That includes its body, neck, and beautiful fingerboard. Leones added extra comfort to the bass with a compound radius.
The pickup is a custom humbucker that is matched with a Bassmods BEQ12-34MSAP preamp. Aside from a master volume and three-band EQ, the control set has a pickup split switch and an active/passive switch. The knobs themselves are roasted maple.
