Squier Introduces Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special SS

Squier has introduced the Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special SS, a short scale take on the classic Fender model. Featuring a 30” scale, the bass is suitable for anyone who appreciates the comfort of a short-scale instrument, as the company explains it’s more than just a student model.

The Jaguar Special SS has an Agathis body and a Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. As with the regular scale Jaguar Special bass, the pickups combine their two popular configurations by having a Precision Bass pickup in the middle and a Jazz Bass pickup in the bridge position. The three knobs control each pickup’s volume as well as the master tone.

The Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special SS will be available in three finishes: Black, Candy Apple Red, and Silver. The MSRP is set around $399. For more, visit Squier’s website.
