  1. Not digging the sound of the P5 at all. Not sure if it’s the bass or the recording…hoping its the recording. PJ sound good, and it’s one of the surprisingly rare PJs with VVT and a B width neck…want.

  2. Looks like they’re dropping the Duncan design pups. I hope their house brand ones are as good.

  3. If the drum machine wasn’t so loud, I might be able to hear the bass

  4. entry level basses nothing more.

  5. VM fretless P-Bass?? Fretted P/J?????

Hello new backup basses!! Goodbye $600!!!

  6. 500 dollars for a Squier? not for me.. go and look for an used real Fender U.S.A. , I paid 8000 mexican pesos ( 600 dollars aprox ) in may 2012 for a black Fender american standard ( 1998 ) with normal wear , without case.

I recently picked up the P5, and it is really nice. It is physically a large bass, but not heavy. I think it delivers the classic Precision sound in spades. In time, i may string it with flatwounds although I am usually a fan of roundwounds.
