Hevos Introduces 2×6 Combo Bass Amp

Hevos 2x6 Combo Bass AmpHevos has introduced the 2×6, a compact bass combo amp fitted with a pair of 6″ loudspeakers. It utilizes the company’s 400C amplifier, which includes a Class-D power amp rated at 400 watts.

Features include two separate inputs, a mute for tuning, -6dB pad and a phase switch the company says is great for double basses with two pickups.

The EQ section has four bands, while the backside of the amp has a headphone output, a mute out, and a line out with pre/post switch. There’s also an extra Speakon output for hooking up a second cabinet to the combo.

The Hevos 2×6 is made in the Netherlands and carries a price of around $1,775 USD. For more info, check out the Hevos website.

    I think I’d much rather go for one of the new TC Electronic BG250 2×8 combos, if this is what I was looking to buy. Literally over $1000 cheaper. I would never blow near $2000 on a combo…

  2. I’ll take a Philly Jones instead, even a Markbass for less and equal to better sound.
