Judith Owen and Leland Sklar Announce Free Tour

Judith Owen and Leland Sklar

What’s better than seeing legendary bassist Leland Sklar perform with a super talented songwriter? How about seeing them for free?

Sklar will be joining singer/songwriter Judith Owen on her upcoming “Ebb & Flow” tour across the United States. Each show on the duo’s tour will be free, with a suggestion that if you’d like to support the tour, you do so by buying Owen’s album of the same name.

Owen recruited Sklar for Ebb & Flow, and he in turn got his musical partners Waddy Wachtel and Russ Kunkel to fill out the group on the album.

“Judith is really, truly gifted as a lyricist, as a pianist, and as a singer,” Sklar shared. “I’m a huge fan of hers.”

The tour kicks off May 13th at The Cutting Room in New York City before heading down the East Coast and eventually making their way west to California. The final date of June 13th at The Mint in Los Angeles will include Kunkel and Wachtel in the performance.
