Warwick Introduces 5-String Streamer CV Bass

Warwick’s Streamer CV bass is getting a little bigger with the introduction of a five-string model to the lineup. The model, which was originally debuted in 2013, combines the company’s Streamer model with a vintage aesthetic.

Warwick 5-String Streamer CV Bass

The Warwick Streamer CV 5 is built with a US swamp ash body matched with a one-piece maple neck topped by a rosewood fingerboard for fretted versions and a tigerstripe ebony fingerboard for fretless versions. Fretted models have 21 jumbo bronze frets that are finished with Warwick’s Invisible Fretwork Technology. A cream pickguard sets off the retro look.

Warwick fits the bass with a set of passive MEC J/J Alnico V pickups paired with passive MEC electronics. The controls include volume knobs for each pickup as well as tone controls for treble and bass.

The Warwick Streamer CV 5 comes in natural oil, colored oil, and high polish finishes. It’s made at the Warwick Custom Shop in Markneukirchen, Germany and is available for order now starting at $3,399.

I love Warwick and have owned several over the years. They are still my over all favorite. But I have to say that I hate when they put pick guards on there basses!

Also yeah the price is a bit high.
