Idiotbox Effects Releases the Blackout Fuzz Pedal
Idiotbox Effects has launched the Blackout, a pedal that contains two muff circuits mixed parallel. Each has its own Fuzz, Tone, and Output controls while having different tone voicings. The top circuit has a traditional muff tone control; the bottom is more of a mid boost/scoop control.
“This thing is a sonic beast and capable of getting a much wider range of sounds than a traditional or modified single muff,” Idiotbox writes. “Sounds massive on bass and killer on guitar and has a rad black on black color scheme.”
Other features include true bypass switching and a 9-volt BOSS style power or 9-volt battery operation.
The Idiotbox Effects Blackout is available for order now with a two week build time for $129.
