Sebastiaan Cornelissen, Frans Vollink, and Rob van Bavel: Amelia

Back in the early 2000s, I was lucky to work on the Jaco Pastorius box set, Portrait of Jaco: The Early Years. It was the first time I heard Jaco’s early work with Wayne Cochran & The C.C. Riders, and among the recordings were some Jaco originals performed by the band. One of them was “Amelia.”

So I was thrilled to find this 2010 video by the trio of Sebastiaan Cornelissen, Frans Vollink, Rob van Bavel covering this tune.
