Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris has announced a new album and U.S. tour with his side project, British Lion. “The Burning” will be released January 17th. British Lion fans will recognize several of the songs, which have been in the works for two years.

Timi Hansen, who played bass with Mercyful Fate, has passed away after a long battle with cancer. He was 61 years old. The news was shared by Mercyful Fate singer King Diamond.
